Course Description: The BDSM 101 class is our foundational course, and we highly recommend taking it as a prerequisite to our other workshops. Mistress Jean Bardot will introduce participants to the fundamentals of BDSM, including the following topics:
- What is BDSM?
- BDSM Roles & Relationships
- Consent & Safety
- Negotiation & Talking to Your Partner
- Types of BDSM Play
- Aftercare
- Navigating the Community & How to Meet Play Partners
Participants will gain the knowledge to more confidently pursue their BDSM explorations and experiences. At the end of the class, students will have the opportunity to try out different examples of BDSM gear (time permitting).
