Slave Maria gingerly painted the final coat of polish on Mistress’s toenails, taking extra care to stay within the lines. She kept her eyes on her work but she could feel the weight of Mistress’s gaze, and she could hear the rhythmic humming of Mistress’s vibrator. On the periphery of her vision, the implements hanging on the wall served as a harsh reminder of what would happen if Mistress’s nails did not turn out as expected.
